An award-winning literary and creative translator with over a decade of experience, I specialize in experimental/hybrid texts, personal essays, books by women, cli-fi and environmental justice journalism, and stories centering disability. I have an ear for dialogue which makes works of theater a natural fit. A visual artist, I'm especially eager to work with museums, galleries, and cultural institutions.

I've worked across academic and commercial publishing to polish translated, multilingual, monolingual, and ESL manuscripts for publication, easily pivoting to adhere to various style guides.

Whether film or television, scripts or already-produced video, I provide English-language subtitles for French-, Spanish-, or Portuguese-language audio. I have been certified through the Middlebury Institute of International Studies' Subtitling for Streaming course, and am therefore versed in Netflix's industry-standard guidelines.

My portfolio of published work includes short fiction, reviews, critical essays, journalism, memoir, and genre-bending prose poetry. As a translator, I'm adept at playing with language and inhabiting many voices. Whatever your project, I will capture the desired tone and message.

I read widely and across borders, and have a keen eye for literary trends in various global markets. I cut my teeth in translation as a book reviewer. Currently I work as a reader of French and Portuguese titles for the Anglophone market.
